Pastoral Care

We proclaim Jesus Christ, and promote communities of Joy, Hope, Love, and Peace. Our proclamation is to the world, and to each other. And the communities we promote are comprised of the people with whom we live. One of the great strengths of the Community of Christ is the sense of family that connects all of our congregations throughout the world. We are members of a world church, living out our relationship with Christ in our home congregations.

At Walnut Gardens we take joy in our relationships to and with each other. We gain strength in the hope given to us by the good news of the gospel. We reach out to each other with the arms of God's love. And we seek to make real that peace which the world does not know. We celebrate with each other in life's triumphs, and we hold each other in the days of mourning.

We believe that when someone enters into our fellowship, it's just the beginning.
